Privacy Policy

1. Information we collect

We collect information in the following ways:

• Account information — name, email address, and password (stored as a bcrypt hash, never in plain text) when you register, or your provider ID and email if you sign in with Google.
• Website and content data — the WordPress sites you connect, the keywords you track, and the content Kazevo generates or publishes on your behalf.
• Connected service credentials — WordPress application passwords and Google Search Console access tokens you provide so Kazevo can publish content and pull ranking data. These are stored encrypted and used only to perform the actions you request.
• Billing information — subscription plan and status. Card details are collected and processed directly by Dodo Payments; we do not store card numbers on our servers.
• Usage data — log data such as IP address, browser type, and pages visited, collected automatically to keep the service reliable and secure, plus cookieless analytics described in section 3.

2. How we use your information

• To provide, operate, and maintain the Kazevo platform
• To generate, score, and publish content to the websites you connect
• To measure keyword rankings and AI citation visibility on your behalf
• To process payments and manage your subscription
• To send account, security, and service-related communications
• To detect, investigate, and prevent fraud or abuse

3. How we share information

We do not sell your personal information. We share data only with the service providers necessary to run Kazevo, including our hosting and database provider, payment processor (Dodo Payments), and the AI providers used to generate content. Each is bound to use your data only to provide the relevant service. We may also disclose information if required by law.

Analytics. We use Vercel Analytics and Vercel Speed Insights to count page views and measure page-loading performance. Both are cookieless: they store no identifier in your browser, and we cannot use them to recognise you across visits or across other websites. Alongside page views we record a small, fixed set of product events — that a visibility check was run, that an account was created, that a checkout was started. These carry no email address, domain, or content, only which step occurred.

Error monitoring. This deployment can send diagnostic reports of application errors to Sentry — what failed, where in the code, and on which page. It is configured not to attach IP addresses, cookies, or request headers to those reports.

4. Data retention

We retain account and content data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we delete or anonymize your personal data within a reasonable period, except where retention is required for legal or accounting purposes.

5. Your rights

Depending on your location, you may have the right to access, correct, export, or delete your personal data. You can manage most of this directly from your dashboard settings, or contact us to make a request.

6. Security

We use industry-standard safeguards including encrypted connections, hashed passwords, and database-backed sessions that can be revoked instantly. No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure, but we work to protect your data at every layer of the platform.

7. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date above.
